Real Phantoms Play the Accorion

Isn't he adorable?! I think Gaston Leroux should have added an accordion to Erik's list of instruments. Can anyone else picture him seducing Christine with it? XD

No? Just me? Really? ...

Anyway, as terrified as I was of moving and going to college, I'm actually having a blast. My classes seem pretty easy as well, so my work load shouldn't consume my social life. I'm excited. It still doesn't seem real, but this is no longer a nightmare for me. =]
PLUS! Astronomy totally crosses over into my Star Trek world so YAYZ! I get to fangirl whilst I'm learning.

The word on the street is: I'm a hooker

Fudge
So today is my big move-in day.

I still haven't packed.

Whats more, I'm not even at home. And I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night. If I'm lucky.

Instead I was up, watching the sun rise through Maria's fogged glass in her parent's bathroom, and mentally writing my own autobiography. I guess with the future looming so close I couldn't help but reminisce. Am I the only one with the opinion that I shouldn't go to college? Lets face it, my high school experience was sub-par at best. Am I really to be trusted with schooling you actually have to pay for?!

Apparently I am.

So here I am, waiting for the coffee to brew and my shirt to dry, so I can start on a brand new venture. Yayz for me.

Picard/Q
Ahhh, the velvety smooth language of Klingon.

So I got about 3-4 hours of sleep last night only to wake up at 7 and hate everyone. =D

But today marked the first day of banter between me and Maria about our new Star Trek novel. We've already outlined the plot and constructed our new original character. I don't want to give anything away yet, but its really made of win. ^^

So ya, I'm really excited about that. But as much as I would love to begin writing, my brain as unfortunately eloped with my left kidney (how many of those do you have?), so I'm not expecting it back until MUCH later. I am currently running off of  coffee and lemons.

And Star Trek

...so I'm just going to eat sushi and hope that it makes everything better. I really have no idea what I'm doing right now, so...I'm just going to go.

Hugs to all!

Oh Oh Oh Sexy vampire

Sexy vampire
I'm falling in love with you
'Cause you need my plasma more than I do.

So I got a letter in the mail today.

...Okay...so it wasn't technically mine. But it had my name with "to the parents of" attached, thats basically the same thing. Point is, I got a catalog from NMSU with niffty things like sheets and towels. Very momentous seeing as I will be sleeping in these sheets and rubbing my wet, naked body against these towels for *hopefully* the next four years of my life.

Now I'm just left to decide between Kiwi Green and Tangerine Orange. Obviously this decision is tearing my heart asunder. I LOOOOVE Orange, but Kiwi Green...its so cute! Plus, having an ORANGE comforter with my  Texas Tech blanket? Wheres the school spirit?

Also I've become a hermit, and the sun burns my pale, pale, plague-ridden skin. *hisssss*

No Kristin, I have not read your livejournal yet. ITS ONE IN THE MORNING!

I finally quit working Saturdays, and spent my day eating there instead. Needless to say the food is a pile of bleh.

I did, however get the chance to meet asians with Kristin. They squint.

But I did have a good time, and I came to a couple of very stunning realizations:

1. Koreans play the gay card all to well...
2. Asians eat mass amounts of food.
3. THEY NEVER GAIN WEIGHT

Also can't stop watching Ze Frank. Darn you Kristin *shakes fist* like I need another thing to obsessivly watch.

I think I'm going insane as all my "paragraphs" are one line, and I dont really want to do anything about it.

To The End of Days...

  • Oct. 15th, 2007 at 1:42 PM
Erik
I feel like I have not had a good night sleep since I was in my mother's womb. I probably havnt.

My brother came home this weekend, and I got to spend all of 30 minutes with him. A boring 30 minutes with him...

Between work and school I think I'm losing my soul. Every time I try to go out, or enrich myself...Ooops I have a test I need to study for; Ooops ROBERT CANT COVER MY SHIFT...darn you Robert *shakes fist* So far I've missed a Doctor Who marathon (IT IS IMPORTANT) a trip to the corn maze with my friends, and a lovely picnic with possible intellegent people (are you? I still have to make up my mind ^_~). And thats only from this weekend. v.v Not to mention the lack luster attempt at bonding with my brother, and my failer to make time to play Halo 3 while the x-box was still in town.

But on the plus side, I can now recite to you Macbeth's "Tomorrow" silioque. Aint life grand?

Todays the first of October?

...wow...

So anyway, went to my first Bad Relgion Concert last night. *love*

Karla picked me up late, but it didnt matter as I had never even heard of the opening bands. She apperently was on guest list with a "plus one" but the chick running the ticket stand still didnt let her in, so she had to climb under a railing in the back. Which only took 5 hours...But after I pay, we meet inside and chill with some of her friends until we join the hoarding masses in front of the stage. I wasnt complaining as we stood a few rows down from the front. It was still a good standing, and only a few people were in my way. Then people started leaving the crowd, and Karla and I filled their spaces, bringing me to the second row!!! Not to mention it was oddly spacious and I could actually move aroud.

Finally the band walks to the stage, so everyone kicked chivalry in the face, and began shoving and elbowing to the front. It was marvolous. I held my own until some half naked cracker comes shoving his way in. I block him out at first, but then he began pushing some other guy to get through, so he ended up next to me. I lost interest when I realized he was there to stay. But during one of the songs, he turns to me and says "Too bad these guys are in front of you girls huh?" I just agreed and went back to the music hopeing that to be the end of it. It wasnt. He then started talking to the guys in the first row, asking them to let us through. I looked at Karla, and she told the guy to stop...but he didnt. The other guys, of course, didnt want to lost their place, so Whitey fought his way through some more people, and gave me a front row pass. Hehehe...as bad as I felt that some poor sod lost his place, I WAS IN THE FRONT ROW!!! THE-FRONT-ROW...of Bad Religion! Usually the front row is the least comfortable because people begin pushing you into a wooden wall, but Naked Guy had his arm on the rail, protecting me from injury. Not to mention he was beating back any that dared to push me back. Apperently he was also hitting on Karla...but no one really cares about that. ^_~

Finally, during one of the songs, Cracker was pulled back into the crowd. As sad I was to lose my bodyguard, he was kinda creeping me out. Plus it wasnt actually that uncomfortable without him. If it was I didnt notice because Bad Religion was RIGHT THERE! I start feeling a comotion behind me, and I turn to see Shirtless fighting his way back to us. If anything, I must applaud his persistance. The bouncers see the fight, and started crowding around him, blocking my view! Whadda jerk. So they shine some flashlights, and start yelling at him to put a shirt on. He defends himself buy saying "I'm just trying to protect this girl!" but they kick him out because he was naked, and no one really wanted to see that.

So finally I am left to enjoy the band in peace.

They were so amazing live. The guy is like 50 years old, but he still puts on an amazing show. They played almost all of my favorites, most importantly You and Sorrow. I would have wet myself if it wasnt already secreting through my pours. After the magic ended and eveyone began exiting the building, I discovered that my jacket was drenched with my sweat, as well as a dozen other people's. Ya, it was gross, but all worth it. Did I mention I was FRONT ROW at Bad Religion?! Cuz I was.

We hung around a bit, and some of the band members went out to take pictures and sign autographs. I didnt get one. I didnt even know any of their names, so it'd be kinda weird if I suddenly wanted an autograph. Still, I appreciated that they did that for the fans. After Karla stops socializing, we go outside and join David, who had gotten himself kicked out trying to sneak in. Turns out we could have gone to hang out with the guitarist and singer after, but some other fans ruined it for us. But I got to eat some Taco Cabana burritos after, so whos complaining?
